Make it an Adventure with a Polaroid Wedding
Matt + Peggy’s Farm Wedding

This love story is set in a special scene at the bride's childhood home. A lovely farm in Kentucky, at the Coots holler. With chickens and turkeys roaming around in the sunrise light and a good southern cooked breakfast to start out the day; this story has many unique moments. From those cherished mother and daughter moments in the house that mom raised her in, to the new memories shaping with their triplet nephews; we get to see the start of their new adventure. The groom makes his own cake and they share a ceremony under trees that welcome visitors onto the farm, and the bride walks with her father and fur baby (Gemini) in to meet her special guy. Matt + Peggy share my love for original film prints, so we made sure to incorporate plenty of time and photo coverage with instant film. She also brought her grandmother's Polaroid so we captured some really special moments with her camera.

From the Bride & Groom:
He makes me smile so much. He’s a hard worker and loyal to the core. He challenges me in the best ways and compliments me too. He laughs with his whole body - it warms me to the core. Her sense of humor, strength, and her smile. We have the same favorite color; it’s hard to find someone who appreciates grey. A couple of days before the wedding when I was stressing out, Matt said to me, "It's not about March 17, 2018. It's about March 17 in 50 years." - This one still gets me.

A Summer Love Story at Berry Hill Mansion | Hannah + Cody

bride and groom   Hannah & Cody had the sweetest wedding day in Kentucky. Berry Hill Mansion was the perfect location for this summer love story. It had multiple rooms for getting ready spaces; indoor and outdoor reception areas; and an outdoor ceremony. With both Hannah and Cody having such fun and loving spirits, it was easy for every little moment of their day to be so unique and perfectly them.

The Love Letters
The two sweethearts wrote secret love notes to each other throughout the day, having their friends deliver them to avoid seeing each other until the ceremony. To extend those special moments, they decided to do something special before the ceremony. By hiding on two sides of a gingko tree that blocked their faces they were able to hold hands. Then they read letters from each other, exchanged gifts and said a prayer.
Special Moments on their Big Day
See the bride and groom in the most anticipating moments of their wedding day; the moment they see each other for the first time; the kiss as husband and wife and their dance for the first time as Mr. & Mrs. Lane. Cake smashing, speeches, the bouquet and garter tosses. It felt like the sun knew how happy everyone was and hung out a little longer.  The bright and beautiful sunset made for real romance during the bride and groom portraits and offered a smooth transition into the moonlit dance scene. Guests lit a sparkler path for the couple to run through and they ended the night by hopping into a vintage car that took them off to their honeymoon.
